Method: Qualitative with a semi standardised questionnaire Results: Our results is that the Incentive programs for employees in their present form don?t give the companies a good possibility to effect the employees to perform towards the goals of the system. The performance measures in the Incentive programs for employees is suitable in comparison with the goals of the program but the construction and the use of the systems doesn?t give a satisfied result in comprising with the goals.

The aim of this study is to analyze the justification of a financial incentive that rewards students who rapidly finish their studies within the language education ?Swedish for immigrants? (sfi). Thereby, we want to see what assumptions are made about the students, and relate this to experiences of the education at a local level. We applied a text analysis on a government bill about the incentive, which showed that the deficiencies in the education are said to be caused by the students? lack of effort.

We conclude that the most efficient structure is when an active board is complemented by a well structured and individualised Incentive programme. Syftet med denna uppsats är att beskriva och analysera hur Vattenfall, E.ON och Fortum utformat sina incitamentsprogram, skillnaderna mellan dessa samt att utvärdera användbarheten och funktionen av sådana system. För insamling av information inom problemområdet har teorier hämtats från litteraturen samt empiriskt material från företagsinterna dokument och de intervjuer som gjorts. Denna information vävs senare samman för att analyseras i uppsatsens slutsats.Vi har valt att fokusera på de tre största aktörerna på den svenska elmarknaden med anledning av att dessa tre anses mest jämförbara i storlek och tillsammans står för majoriteten av Sveriges elproduktion. De teorier som vi lagt mest tyngd kring inom detta område är management litteratur. Denna har i sin tur emellanåt blandats med organisationsteorier och litteratur som enbart fokuserar på belöningar och incitamentsprogram.

The purpose of this paper is to perform an in-depth analysis on how the events that took place in Skandia AB during the end of the 1990s have been portrayed in media, and how this has affected the general debate concerning bonuses and incentive plans. The paper studies relevant newspaper articles published in Sweden?s largest business newspaper, Dagens Industri (DI), over a period ranging from 2002 to 2008. The major findings of this paper include that bonuses are widely used as incentives in Swedish companies and that the issue of bonuses as an incentive form has lead to a prevalent debate. This study aims to build a deeper understanding on how shareholder value is created in Private Equity investments, especially during the holding period. The study is a qualitative study of the buyout of the access security company Bewator AB made by the Swedish Private Equity firm EQT in 2002. Utvärdering av ett optimeringsprogram för produktionsplanering.

The aim of this thesis is benchmarking of the program, based on dynamic programming, that earlier was written to imitate the production planning at TSS.This thesis starts with a chapter about the construction of the DP-program, a shorter description of one and each of the program parts and also a list over the in- and output data in each program part. The DP-program consists of six linked MATLAB-files that together produce an optimized production plan for the different planning groups at TSS. The program reads in and reformat the given data and optimize the production of the articles in one group. Finally it compounds all article production plans and give us a production alternative.After running the program with new data the result shows, resembling with previous results, that TSS could be able to make some distinct cost-savings. According to the program, a 50 % decrease of TSS production costs is possible. .

The purpose of this thesis was to create a saw pattern program for the sawmill industry. I have chosen to focus on the module that describes the shrinking on the wood. There are several theories about how the wood deforms by shrinking. Several hypotheses were simulated in the program and after testing them I decided to use only one of them (hypothesis C). The program is written in Visual Basic .NET and I choused that program language because it is easy to do changes in the layout. Another great advantage in Visual .Net is that you can mix different languages in the same program.
